Safe for direct and continous food contain and storage?
Modified By jimmy101 on 4/5/2010 8:51:04 PM)

Is any of your products safe to repair a plastic container, HDPE to be exact.

It is a sugar syrup container that is unreplaceable, so I need something that is

food safe for direct  & continous food contact. I know many glues are nontoxic,

but not safe for continous food contact like silicones and hot melt glues.

thanks

HDPE is a high density polyethylene.  This is the same material we use to make all of our Gorilla Glue bottles.  Gorilla Glue will not stick to it since it is too slick and oily because it is manufactured with high amounts of petroleum.

I recommend checking in your local hardware store for an adhesive specifically designed for HDPE.

I hope this helps.-
