Is Gorilla Tape SAFE for long-term inhalation?

Hi.  Just tonight I used your product to seal some edges around my air-conditioning unit in my bedroom.  However, the odor is strong; much stronger than any duct tape I've used in the past.  So I'm a little worried about my girlfriend and I inhaling these fumes overnight.  Is it safe?

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you,

Nicholas

Re: Is Gorilla Tape SAFE for long-term inhalation?

Hi Nicholas - I checked with our chemist just to be sure!!

Our MSDS sheet for Gorilla Tape can be accessed at the bottom of our Home page.  It will tell you that Gorilla Tape has very little odor.  However, the MSDS Sheet also states, you do not want to breathe in fumes from "burning" tape.  If the tape is too close to the section of the A/C unit that gets hot, we recommend moving the tape away from this section.  But if the tape is just being used to seal some edges around the unit, it should be great to use. Gorilla Tape is not airtight, so fresh air will come through the tape.  We suspect that it's either something in the unit itself or something is decomposing from the heat of the unit.  I hope this helps.
