Gorilla Glue in a dishwasher

I have a small hole in the bottom of my dishwasher, something fell down and melted a small hole (or crack) in the bottem of the tub.  I was wondering if  I can use the Epoxy to fill the hole in or can I use just the glue to fill the hole in?

Re: Gorilla Glue in a dishwasher

You will need to use an epoxy on this repair.  An epoxy offers gap filling ability that Gorilla Glue does not have.  Even though the Gorilla Glue does foam and expand, it only fills voids cosmetically, not structurally.

You will also need to use a waterproof epoxy since this repair is inside your dishwasher.  Unfortunately, Gorilla Epoxy is water resistant and it will breakdown over time when exposed to moisture.

I hope this helps!
