Big mistake, I'm afraid

My dog kept removing her stitches after she was spayed.  Had no duct tape handy, so I used what I did have, gorilla tape.  Wrapped it around her several times and no, she hasn't chewed her stitches again, but I'm starting to wonder---am I going to pull out all her hair when I remove it?  Is it causing damage to her skin?

Re: Big mistake, I'm afraid

Gorilla Tape is a duct tape that we have added an aggressive rubber based adhesive and a thicker cloth backing.   Pulling it off will hurt and remove fir!   However, it is not waterproof so soaking in hot soapy water will eventually break down the adhesive.  Rubbing alcohol, gasoline and paint thinner will also dissolve the tape but all of these solutions are not something I can recommend since she recently had surgery and has a healing incision!

I can only recommend contacting your vet and see what they would suggest you do.
