gorilla glue/tape and heat

Has anyone had experience with Gorilla Glue or Gorilla Tape in extreme heat, like 400 degrees? I am thinking about using one of these products to fix a broken rack in my oven. Any suggestions?

Re: gorilla glue/tape and heat

These products would not be good for this. Firat I dont think either would hold up for such use but more importantly you never know what chemicals that are used in them can leach out when heated and get into your food.

I think you'd have better luck having the oven rack welded.  No telling what the glue would do if it were heated to that high of a temperature.  Good luck!

Re: gorilla glue/tape and heat

Im with the others dont use it on an oven.  I've tried the glue on a project on my 4- wheeler one time near the muffler and it didn't hold very well.
