Guitar repair

I snapped the headstock off of my 12 string acoustic guitar. A guitar repair shop said it would cost me $175.00 to fix it and they couldn't guarantee it would last because of the tension from the strings. I decided to try and fix it myself. I used Gorilla Glue and clamped the neck and headstock together and left it for about 2 weeks. I then, fearfully, removed the clamp, strung the guitar, and tuned it to concert pitch. And it held together!! And it's been holding together for the past 2 years!!! The break for very clean and everything fit back together almost seamlessly. Thanks Gorilla Glue!
