My glue is glued shut--how to get glue to flow again?

Used Gorilla Glue once, and now glue is dried in the top part blocking glue from coming out. Any tips on salvaging this? Is there a specific tool you'd recommend to poke through it? I have the smaller bottle.

Since Gorilla Glue is a moisture activated glue, any air left in the bottle will activate the glue right in the container and you will get a crust layer underneath the spout.  On the smaller container, the tip of the nozzle will come off if you rock it back and forth and pull up on it.  This will give you a larger opening.  If you take an ice pick or sharp stick and poke down through this crust layer, or if you take a needle-nose pliers and remove the crust layer and dispose of it.  Any glue underneath this crust layer is fine to use and at full strength.

To prevent this from happening, before capping your bottle, hold it upright and squeeze the container.  Allow the glue to go back up into the spout.  Just before the glue comes out of the container, and while holding that squeeze keeping the glue at the tip of the nozzle, replace your cap.  Your bottle will be a bit misshapen and cave-in slightly since you have used the glue to force all of the air out of the bottle.

Thanks! I'll try that.
