Gorilla glue safe to glue mouth retainer

Could Gorilla Glue - Super Glue work on fixing my mouth retainer. It is in two pieces. It broke on one of the metal frame of the retainer. Was thinking it could bond to the metal and acrylic retainer. Trying to get a temporary fix. Can not afford to purchase a new one.

Pharmacy said Temparin Max may help hold the retainers. Though that stuff never dried and hardened. Is the glue safe to eat or drink on once it has fully dried?

Unfortunately, none of our glues have been tested for use in the mouth.  Gorilla Super Glue is not waterproof and saliva contains enzymes that will break down the adhesive.  Unfortunately, your orthodontist is really the only person who should repair your retainer.
