Glue drying out?

Has anyone out there had their glue dry up halfway through a bottle?  Gorilla Glue is great but I can't afford a full bottle that is going to dry up!!  I've bought two bottles over the past year, one for the house and one for the garage, and each one is now a rock!  There are no children in my household and I am 70+ years old so I do know how to secure a bottle of glue.  Even though I work with glues constantly, my Elmer's Wood Glue lasts to the very last drop.  It is not as secure as Gorilla Glue but I can depend on it to be there.  Any suggestions?  Neither bottle experienced extreme temperature fluctuations.

Re: Glue drying out?

A pro woodworker friend advised me before I bought my first bottle of Gorilla Glue to be sure I always squeezed the air out of the bottle before putting the cap on it. That's as far as I can go because I'm such a newbie user...I do squeeze the air out though and let the glue be on top of the tip when I replace the cap...so far no solidified bottle.

Re: Glue drying out?
Perhaps after squeezing the air out of the bottle, you could place it into a ziploc bag and seal it? I've had good results with caulk, etc. by doing this. Cheers!

Re: Glue drying out?

I have had the same problem with the bottle drying out even though I put it in a ziploc.

Re: Glue drying out?
I have gone through many bottles of original Gorilla Glue. It almost always hardens up before I finish all of it. I have come to expect that about the one third mark it will dry out. There is nothing as frustrating as starting what otherwise would be an easy repair job to discover the showstopper is my glue!  Please Gorilla Glue can we fix this somehow? My glue is kept indoors..
