Removal of glue stain from hands

I used gorilla glue today to repair an old dining room chair, and now, unfortunately, have the dark stain all over my fingers.  Any suggestions on how to remove the stain.  I tried acetone and that didn't work.  Have washed my hands so much they look like prunes.  Please help.

Had same problem glue stains on both hands after project on Sunday. Had a funeral to go to on Monday. Mineral Spirits, Acetone, did not budge. Honestly I don't work for company, I decided to wash my hands in Gorilla (white) Wood Glue. Let it dry, and then peel off. You will be surprised how much of the stain is removed. Tried the same procedure with titebond III, but had better success with gorilla Wood glue. Tried application twice and was able to shake hands, etc. with no problems. Try it!

Re: Removal of glue stain from hands

Generally, the stains will wear off. It takes about a week and the more washing and moisturizing you do during that week the better. Of course, wearing gloves is always a good idea.

I'll make sure to give the Gorilla Wood Glue a try next time I end up with a bit of brown stain on my fingers. How did you come up with that?

Interesting idea! Lauren @ Gorilla
