While laying our hardwood floor in a new house, Gorilla glue was somehow smeared on the surface. How can I remove the glue from the surface of my pre-finished maple hardwood floor? Thanks!
Answer:
If Gorilla Glue is wet, any standard paint thinner will remove it. Once cured, however, Gorilla Glue is 100% waterproof and as a result no chemicals can penetrate through it to soften it or break it down. Therefore, the only way to remove cured Gorilla Glue is mechanically, such as sanding, scraping, scratching, chipping or chiseling.
